November 21, 2005:
We begin painting. The undercarriage and interior is first, then we can finish the outer paint scheme. Rob chose silver as the interior color but you'll have to wait and find out what the outer paint scheme is going to be...

Undercarriage is finished but the project is now waiting on hardware to install the rest of the suspension and subframe componets. I'll post an update when the parts come in.

July 14, 2006:
Everything has to be finished for Portland by Thursday next weekend. Please forgive the lack of updates but honestly, we haven't had much time to work on the car until now! Here it is heading out to get a layer of sealer/paint before we spend the remaining week installing the motor and getting the car running. It sucked sanding the hole car down in preparation for paint.

August 02, 2006:
After a couple of long weeks, a few overnighters, plenty of custom fabrication, endless searching for parts, countless bloody knuckles, headaches and much exhaustion, our E46 motorsport chassis is race worthy! This is after paint, and actually after the USTCC race in Portland. The car has progressed a lot since we first picked up the bare chassis. Certainly presentable and a now a worthy contender, watch for it in the next few USTCC races.
