November 01, 2005:
The car is delivered in all of its completely BONE-STOCK glory. 12/1994 BMW M3. 66k original miles. Alpine White with black interior (not for long). The teardown process begins. We begin dismantling the interior and removing components that we no longer need in preparation for the roll cage to be installed.

November 04, 2005:
Car is getting lighter and the interior parts are getting fewer. Still on the stock suspension, the car was sitting higher and higher as we removed parts. The worst part is removing the sound deadening tar. Slowly it all starts coming off.

The car is back from Tony at TC Design in Milpitas, CA. The cage looks awesome and all the welds are top notch. It makes you happy just seeing it. While it was gone, some new parts came in: the Moton Clubsport shocks/struts and the Ground Control front and rear anti sway bars. The fun is about to begin!

December 24, 2005:
We have begun dismantling the wiring harness to remove excess electronics and weight. The Moton Club Sport suspension is being installed along with the Ground Control anti sway bars, rear camber control arms, and misc bearings front and rear. We're also cleaning up the rest of the tar we missed and wiping down the interior in preparation for paint.

January 28, 2006:
It's been a while since the last update. We have been busy finishing the car for a testing event held February 3-5. The painting was finished and the interior looks nice and pretty. There was a lot of work left to do before the car would run or even roll on the ground so we really had to get busy to make the deadline. We had to fabricate a custom radiator support bracket, dyno and set the Moton Clubsport suspension, swap the differential, finish up the wiring, gauges, & kill switch install, as well as fabricate a mount for the AIM data aquisition display and side net mounting point. The seat was positioned and mounted, the custom brackets for the radiator and AIM worked flawlessly and were rock solid, and the electrical was finished. After running through everything and making some electrical changes, the car was ready to start. Good news; it started right up and ran like a champ! The Stoptech front brake kit was installed, the fenders were rolled and the wheels were bolted up to finish things off. The car was ready to rock and roll! Next up are some carbon fiber goodies, front and rear aero, engine performance upgrades, and some crazy body work and paint! Stay tuned...
